Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need an insured tree care company? Tree work is dangerous and should only be done by a professional. Liability insurance is important because it protects you, the homeowner, and your property from potential risk and damage. When you are looking to hire a tree company, be sure to request proof of comprehensive insurance from their insurance carrier before any work is started. We provide certificate of insurance with each contract.
Will this tree fall? Hazard assessment is one our many jobs. As trees grow and age they may become weakened due to stress factors, which impacts the structural integrity. It is important to have a tree care specialist make a visit to assess any possible dangers.
Can you give me a quote over the phone? In short, No. Giving an accurate quote for service depends on many factors, which may only be noted during a site visit. Size, health of tree, location of tree and surrounding features are all important factors. We always offer free quotes, have weekend availability to work around your schedule, and prefer to offer multiple options if possible. Give us a call or email today to schedule a visit.
Why is tree care work so costly? Tree specialist work with professional tools and equipment, and have studied and spent countless hours training for their job. Removal of trees are often an investment in the safety of your home, yard, and family, and requires time, care, and precise work. Many options like haul away, chipping, and stump grinding are not required, and do cost extra. Yard waste debris disposal is billed to the Arborist per truck/trailer load by the disposal center, which is a little known fact. Chippers and stump grinders are an additional large cost to the Arborist themselves, and we do not make any money from the chipping and grinding. We attempt to give all customers multiple options for tree care work, if possible, and give a breakdown of all costs.
What are some of the best trees to plant? While there are endless choices of trees, ti will depend on the look and feel of your outdoor space. There are beautiful flowering exotic varieties, evergreens that stay green all year, trees that provide fall color, trees that will grow very large that future generations may enjoy, and dwarf varieties to beautify smaller spaces.
